Jamie’s Italian in Westfield, Stratford City, London

Jamie Oliver’s  newest project, named Jamie’s Italian in Westfield, Stratford City (London, UK), was designed by Blacksheep. The place features a combination of finishes like the herringbone distressed oak timber floor, the black and white mosaic marble tiles, the rustic storage type furniture and the hanging meats & spices, there is definitely a tiny hint of Italian island life. However, when you look at the red leather diner type built-in sofas and the industrial lighting, you get the feeling of retro city buzz.  Hence the most suitable description to explain this interior is Italian Brunch Meets Market Lifestyle.

The most coveted place in London: Dabbous

Dabbous is a strikingly modern and stylish new restaurant/basement bar set over two floors located in the heart of  Fitzrovia, London. (39 Whitfield St, London)

Three days after its opening in February, London food critic Fay Maschler wrote a rave review about Dabbous and transformed it overnight from a new experimental, edgy restaurant to the most difficult place to get a reservation in London.

The raw industrial aesthetic of Dabbous was created by London design company Brinkworth.

Introducing Kitchen Wizards

I recently came across these beautifully designed kitchens and they immediately caught my attention. Later I learned that the masterminds behind these designs were two New Jersey cousins, branching out form their family owned business Brunellesschi Construction. I looked them up and found these elaborate designs I wanted to share with you. One thing I loved is how they made this real-life sized kitchens feel ample and royal with their  high quality materials. Just lovely. Enjoy. And go look for them if you´re in the New jersey Area.
